Microsoft Access Runtime REQUIRED

Tournament Dreams College Basketball uses Microsoft Access databases to load seasons and store stats.
If you do not have Microsoft Access installed on your computer, you must install the free Microsoft Access Runtime from Microsoft before using the game.

Which version should I install?

You must install the version that matches your Microsoft Office installation:

  • If you use 32-bit Office ā†’ Install the 32-bit Runtime (AccessRuntime.exe)

  • If you use 64-bit Office ā†’ Install the 64-bit Runtime (AccessRuntime_X64.exe)

To check which Office version you have:
Open Excel ā†’ File ā†’ Account ā†’ About Excel ā†’ the top line will show 32-bit or 64-bit.

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 or equivalent

  • Memory (RAM): 4 GB

  • Storage: 2 GB free space

  • Display: 1366Ɨ768 resolution or higher

  • Excel Settings: Macros enabled (installer sets TDCB as a trusted location)

  • Internet: Only required for download and updates

  • Microsoft Office:

    • Microsoft 365 Excel/Access (latest version)

    • 64-bit Office strongly recommended for large databases and faster queries

  • Memory (RAM): 8ā€“16 GB

  • Storage: SSD (solid-state drive) recommended

  • Display: 1920Ɨ1080 or higher
